When developing a theme for this project we studied the landscape of Hanover County and noticed the abundance of rivers. We broke down the anatomy of the river (river source, tributaries, river channel, river bank, and delta) and translated them into visual colors, shapes, and meanings that align with our Constructive Healing Cycle (TM) process as well as the mission and spirituality of the institution. Original artwork as well as reproductions that represent the life, vitality, and abundance of rivers fills the halls of this new hospital.
